Satsang – Meditation on Sunday

I have two questions for you:

1. Why do you want to learn how to meditate?
2. How badly do you want to learn how to meditate?

Meditation is a science and an art form that requires discipline and commitment. Without discipline you will never reach the point of concentration, let alone of meditation.

Meditation is a concentration of all energy to one point of focus.

The reason why I endure in learning how to meditate is: To create the life I desire and to experience higher states of consciousness.

Love, discipline and happiness
Love gives birth to the discipline of concentration. When you love something, you want to spend more time with that thing. Develop willpower to discipline your life so that you can have more time with what you love. You develop concentration to experience more of what you love in a deeper way. The by-product of experiencing what you love fully is the feeling of happiness.

Don’t pursue happiness; rather design a lifestyle where the by-product of that lifestyle results in the feeling of happiness.


Sit down with a straight back.
Close your eyes and exhale until all air is gone.
Inhale slowly and carefully and fill yourself with air.
Exhale until you are empty.
Repeat this way of breathing 10 times.

Deep – Slow – Even.

Now, let the body breath in a natural way.

Be quiet.

A thought appears.
You started thinking about something.
Observe yourself.

Thinking is mechanical.

Catch the thought,

And exhale …

As if you are breathing the thought out of you.

Do this for 5-10 minutes, 5 days a week.
