Yoga studio closed

[português] [Nederlands]

As I said Thursday evening after the yoga class, today I would decide how to proceed with the yoga classes as the virus Covid-19 (Coronavirus) is ruling the world. We are lucky to be able to live in this beautiful corner of the world and that does not alter the fact that I am happy to take responsibility for limiting the possible spread of the virus. All measures in Portugal are aimed at this and we are all asked to do the same. So, I also stay at home as much as possible, have as little contact with other people as possible and hope you do the same. If everyone goes into voluntary quarantine (as far as possible), the virus can only spread very slowly. In this way, the already congested healthcare system can maintain some control and treat the people who need it.

That is why Yoga Studio Marvão will close for the time being and the yoga and meditation classes will stop in the coming weeks. At the beginning of April, depending on developments worldwide and in Portugal, I will know better when we can come back into class. If you have already paid for the month of March, you will of course keep those lessons!

Heidi’s classes and massage and Reiki sessions are also suspended for the time being.

The nice part of these times is that we can always communicate online. So if you have any questions or ideas, let me know. In the meantime I keep in touch with you through my blog and maybe some vlogs. Maybe if you’re interested, I can do online classes. I’m going to look into it.

I think the government of Portugal is acting fast and well – better than governments of other countries like the Netherlands. It may take some getting used to and I’m sure the result of this rigorous approach will benefit all of us.

Thank you for your understanding, support and solidarity. Stay safe, take care of yourself and your family and let me know if you need anything.

With love and a big hug from the heart.

Namasté

Liesbeth
